Suspect arrested after homicide victim found in Tennessee River

MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) - The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect in a homicide investigation,

Bobby Daryl Hamblen, 59 of Somerville was arrested at his home and charged with murder Thursday afternoon. Bond is pending at the county jail.

Hamblen is accused of killing 54-year-old David James McCluskey of Russellville.

Investigators say McCluskey was found dead with a gunshot wound floating in the Tennessee River near Bluff City Landing Wednesday morning
